Product Overview:

A Tank is a circuit that is used to sustain your PC and keep it running while you try to start your car. It works by using a small secondary battery to deliver current while the main vehicle battery is being drained by the starter. These batteries are used for that circuit.

Typical voltage drop: 0.58 volts - The voltage typically lost using this circuit

Max voltage drop: 0.78 volts - Maximum voltage lost using this circuit

Continuous Current: 20 Amps - The amount of current that can safely be drawn by your inverter or DC-DC PSU.

Sustained Peak Current: 40 Amps - The amount of current that can safely be drawn for a brief amount of time. Length of time is dependant upon ambient temperature, airflow, and other considerations.

Peak Current: 80Amps - The maximum momentary current that can be drawn.

Connectors Included - 6 Fast-On 12-14 gauge 0.25" Female crimp connectors are included. If you purchase a SLA battery with the Tank, you will receive 2 additional connectors.

Size - 1.6" Wide x 1.8" Long x 2.2" High

We Carry a 12 volt 7AHr SLA battery and a 12 volt 12AHr SLA battery

Note: If forced air cooling (a fan blowing on the heatsink) is applied to the Tank circuit, a Continous Current of 40 Amps is possible.
