This is the Serial Port Shutdown Software without the hardware. For those who wish to save a few dollars and build their own cable or who already have the cable.

  • Requires the Microsoft .NET framework v1.1 or later (we provide this for you) to be installed on your PC.
    • Note: The Serial Port Shutdown Accessory Can Not power on a PC. If you want a Laptop to automatically power on, you must use one of our SDCs and solder the brown wires to the Laptop's power button.
